Comparisons for winter project
My curiosity is getting the best of me. Possible winter project and a lot of ideas have been going through my head. Keep in mind I'm not a mechanic so more involved work I hire someone to do but not this time.
Just like everyone else I'm looking for more power!!
Replace Heads / Cam ( install myself) Vs. a built 383 long block that will just bolt in? I would only want the block,heads (not a turn key engine) Either way my Garage is setup to do either. I'm thinking it may be easier for me to just pull an engine and bolt a new one in. I would be using my present intake/CFI (see sig for details)
Its a project I'd like to attempt myself.
What are your thoughts?
