Default Ratio question

This MAY be a silly question, but i would like to know the answer for my own peace of mind.

My '88 has the 700R4 with 3.07:1 rear.
In first gear the ratio is 3.06:1.

Soooo..... 1st gear:
3.06 rotations of the engine translates to 1 rotation of the drive shaft.

3.07 rotations of the drive shaft translates to 1 rotation of the rear wheels.

So does this mean that 7.13 rotations of the engine = 1 rotation of the rear wheels?

I know i may be WAY off, but if someone could steer me in the right directions i would greatly appreciate it...

I believe you multiply one times the other and that would give you 9.39 revolutions of your engine for each revolution of your rear wheels.
