Stick with GM. It's a long term quality issues, not something you will see in the first couple years of owning the new weatherstripping.
My 17 year old original weatherstrip in the rear hatch is in better condition than the crappy aftermarket stuff that is only 4 years old on my targa top It's all worn out looking, deformed somewhat and just doesn't seal as well.
spend the extra money and get GM stuff, or in another 5 years or so, you will be spending more money on newer weatherstripping again

I'm wondering if the people recommending the GM stuff, have installed any lately.
The GM pieces I used are displaying durability issues... ie. they ain't lasting.
I ordered 2 pieces from lonstar- Bpillar and rear hatch. No complaints, been on the car a couple of years now.
