Default jerky people

So here's my craigslist ad.

http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/n...208256883.html

I get an email asking "Is it manual? if so I offer 2000."

I mail him back, enjoy walking.

He mails back

Walking? You're funny, too bad I drive a porsche cayenne, which will probably toast your old vette off the line. Enjoy catching up, and good luck selling that POS.

I tell him your a big man picking on a 20 year old vette enjoy taking your porsche to the shop.

this is currently ongoing I think I just got another mail.

I hate jerky people, anyone really think a perfectly good running vette regardless of year will go for 2k?

He said enjoy taking that vette to the shop everyday.

I told him

You wish these things run forever. Too bad you'll get smoked by a cheap jeep grand cherokee Srt-8 that don't need turbo's to be fast.

Did I mention he has a Cayenne?

The internet and email are a playground for the emotionally disturbed and immature. That's why I only go to this forum.

The guy sounds like an arrogant jerk but you should just ignore him.

Best line I ever heard about a Cayenne was in some car mag, R&T, I think. They said: "It drives just like a Porsche -- with an elephant on it's back"

I normally wouldn't alienate a buyer like that, but when you are offering less than 1/3 of what is asked, you are a tool.

That price on the 87 you listed is really a decent price if everything is mechanically tight and it has good paint. It needs minor stuff like a wheel recovering(assuming cover hides bad wheel) and a new console cover; but that ain't much $ at all.

Good Luck w/ the sale,

He probably drives his mom's volkswagon and considers it close enough to a porche so he calls it a cayenne.

Yup wheel sucks, I should take that lid off and re-dye it thats all it needs.

Runs great and drives pretty tight for an 87 as well. It ain't no 07 ZO6 but it's not a POS.

You know me??

Ibuyvettes, this guy is a jerk....don't give it a second thought. Consider the source. Who would buy an SUV from porsche?? I mean to say, if GMC came out with a sports car...would that be your first choice? Sure, porsche is great but an SUV? When is the 3/4 ton 4x4Porsche Pick-up being introduced?

I'm not worried about it, I found it humerous. Anyone want his email for spamming?

Walking? You're funny, too bad I'm riding the throne after injesting too many cayenne peppers, which will probably toast my spincter muscle pretty good. Enjoy catching up while I try to dump this POS.

I've been using Craigslist about 3 or 4 years and I can honestly say, some of the biggest morons on the planet reply to ads there. And I say that with all due respect to morons around the world. Never fails. some 19 year old counter culture loving fruitloop always replies with an offer of 50% of asking price. And an attitude like he's doing you a favor.....Don't sweat him.

Not to mention he probably parks his car in his moms garage and lives at home. What a dork!!

Thats a fair price on your nice C-4, hopefully the new owner is someone who appreciates it. Good luck on your sale.

The guy probably 'drives' a bicycle. Either way, he just wanted to rile you up and waste your time.

I've learned that Craiglist attracts a bunch of negative sick individuals that must not have jobs because they have WAY too much to say about nothing. Your exchange with this loser is nonetheless entertaining.
