Targa mufflers
I never believed mufflers could give a car a noticable difference. Boy was I wrong ! After putting on a set of KGB Targa tips, I was astonished. I could actually feel a huge difference in my mid range power. My 88 has never felt stronger. Just feels like it wants to go.

It's amazing how powerful a car feels with a louder exhaust!
Not to deminish your excitement, but... the L98 exhaust system is SO restrictive, and even small improvements will do wonders for it.
What I would suggest is losing the precats... that will really perk things up!

the other option is to loose the L98 entirely and go LT1 or LS1. That upgrade is perfectly legal...

when i got my tage mufflers over 2 years back now, the car sure FELT faster with the new "performance" sounds..
The times showed no real gain...
no with my curret LT LPE headrs, no cats and Borla zr1 SS mufflers setup that another story....feels like 20 hk, sounds like 100...
