Default Electrical Ghosts

First the wiper only went up about 6", now the door locks are locking and unlocking when passing over bumps and the interior lights are blinking on at off at what seems to be the same time the door locks are clicking. Strange. Just bought this last weekend so it is new to me and don't have the FSM's yet but they are ordered.

Any suggestions?

If you PM me your e-mail address and which year vette you're working on, I can send you a .PDF file. Unless Agent86 already has one up in his bag of links

Doubt you need schematics for this one. It really sounds like a door, or rear hatch switch out of adjustment is the most likely cause.

Door jam switches are easily adjustable, take a look and you will see. A quick 'fix' is to duct tape a dime or penny to the jam where the switch hits to depress the plunger further, if that works then adjust the switch. BE CAREFULL NOT TO PUSH IT IN TOO HARD AND BREAK IT.
Sorry to 'yell', just wanted to be sure you read the above part. I have never had to adjust my hatch light switch, it is a little tougher though.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Andy. Came back from a quick trip to the office after adjusting the driver door switch. It solved the problem. No more flashing lights and clicking door locks.
