Problem with my wiper's
Everyone has been so helpful on this forum , thought someone might help me with my wiper problem. I have a 92 auto,coupe and the wipers are not doing the intermittent thing when you turn them on, but will continuously run and when you turn off the wiper's the will still run for any amount of time. They will reset and turn off and return under the hood after you turn the car off and restart it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks !

I don't know if the 88 and 92 are the same, however , my 88 had a similar problem. The wiper motor has a small electronic board which controls the delay and the wiper park circuit. It had three wires going into the motor and board plus two for the motor on the side. Cost me $45 at a dealer for the board which was the problem.
My '85 had the same symptoms - and the same fix. After I had replaced the control switch ( in the door) and the park switch (in the motor assy) Without curing the problem...
