Need Help Please
Okay so my motor is not done yet. I know that I got excited about the 383 being built in a week, but three weeks later and still waiting. Any way I sent out my Super Ram to be powder coated and now I can not use the original bolts for it. The powder coating got into the allen tops and I can not fit anything in them to tighten or remove. Where can I purchase these bolts. I tried contacting Mr Gasket and they never respond. The motor is almost ready and I will not be able to install the SR if I can not get the bolts.

Many places have bolts, Home depot even. If it were mine, I would try using the next size down hex in english. It's a metic hex size isn't it? An english size would be slightly smaller. I'd either do that or just remove the paint since it wouldn't cost me anything.

On mine with powercoating, had no problem cause they used the correct size plugs in the holes, but one, just did a tap cleaner for the hold and used the same bolt... did change them all to SS hex heads...
