Hate to ask but desperate times call for desperate questions. Are there other Corvette forums. Just looking for answers to problems that other forums may have answers to. Thanks

well, if you have a Callaway Corvette as you show as your avatar, then www.callawayownersgroup.com might be of interest to you
Most of the people here post on the others as well, and many on teh other forums post here(does that make sense?)
I belong to about 20 different Corvette Forums.
As for my participation, it's this one, CAC,CKS then DC. All the others are smaller and more dedicated to off topic subject matter as the focus, but have Corvette sections as well.
any people crosslink or ask the same questions in all forums and the same people answer them.
My apologies for giving the impression I was not satified. Not the case at all. I enjoy this forum. Every night I read and learn something else about C4's. Some I smile, some I laugh, some I have a puzzled look. Some I try to particpate.
As far as the Callaway avitar, nope don't have one. I just thought what appears to be torch red matched the color of my car. Again just looking for answers.
I may be getting the service manuals soon. Per chance does anyone know if the service manuals are on CD? The Haynes manual is way too general but I should have known this from past experience of other vehicles.
By the way way do the stars mean over ones avitar. I see some people have joined this year and already a senior member. Some are lifetime members. What is this about?

Yes, Helms has there manuals on CD..
You may want to shop around before spending big bucks though.
(If you had your profile filled out, and we knew what year you had, someone may offer to sell you one )
If you post a request in parts/wanted, you may get lucky...

The (little) stars are related to the amount of posts you have made.
The big ones (Supporting member, Lifetime member, etc) are a reflection of your (paid) membership.

Thats about right there mate yeah, . The amount of times ive answered a post on another forum and then come along and seen the exact same one here from the same person as well as a couple other places, ive lost count
I thought I had filled out my profile but apparently I didn't. :o Thanks to all for the feedback. Good stuff all of it. You may have noticed I did change my avitar. I reckon I've been misleading. Unintentionally though. I'll check out the CD. I salute one and all
If you live N GA or around Chattanooga we have little forum for the locals. More like a social club for local get togethers and cruz's, not near the tech advice one can get here.
as far as an answer to your question about the manual. i bought a complete shop manual for my 85 off of ebay for less than $70. the manual was in mint condition. might try ebay.
