Forced Day Off!!!
Last night where I live in the Southwest burbs of Chi-Town
we had some bad Thunder Storm's, and the power went out
around 10:00 pm.so luckily I set my phone alarm to wake me
up
It's fun showering and getting ready by candle
light
well walked out the door and guess what? Yep
you guess it the darn garage door wouldn't open, remember
NO power
couldn't open it manually either! so like I
said a forced Day off! beside's I heard most traffic lights on
the way to where I work were not working.
I decided to work on my Blackout kit what do you all think?
This pics are with the lights on, otherwise they are completely

hmmm, I'm having a forced day off today but i'm not getting to work on the vette. Sprained the ole ankle playing softball, now I'm laid out on the couch playing gran turismo and surfing the corvetteforum. not all bad I guess.
I like the rear lights, not too sure about the bowtie on the front lenses. I would have just left a thin slit or something if you don't want them completely black. The bowtie just looks odd to me. Nice work though...

Ahh, the "Friendly Town!"
I'm in Lisle, and dodged the bullet. Was up on a ladder at 6:30 AM yesterday sawing off a tree limb that was looming over the driveway but other than that we were fairly unscathed.
