Okay, on the never ending search for things to mod on the Grand Sport. I decided to do some thing that will make the interior a little more nice. On my 300, the center console was that hard vinyl like material like in the GS. I had that recovered and thought, why not do the GS too. Here are some before and after pics of the door panel armrests.

And them on the car:
I did them myself with some red leather that I got from the people that did my shift boot. I am also getting the center console cover done by Al Knoch in the same material that he did our seats in. Its going to be embroidered in black letters Grand Sport, just like the seats too. Cant wait to get that piece back. Should be any day now. My elbow will thank me on that long ride up to Tampa next month.
NCRS???? Whats that. The GS is far from stock. There are many others that have the low mile not driven Grand Sports. Im just doing what GM should have done out of the box. Look at this thread.

Looks GREAT! Stock cars and the NCRS are boring IMO.
how in the world did you get the leather to strech around without leaveing wrinkles? You did a great job and the car looks great. I love red interers as well and hope to do my 94 soon.--Larry
I bought some red leather from Red Line Goods, who are supporting vendors on this site, they also do shift boots. Anyways, the leather is thin enough that you can pull it tightly enough not to wrinkle around the edges. Cut off the excess, and your good to go. Cost like $30 for a 2'x2' piece of material.
