I'm replacing my 285s with 315s soon. What do you guys like? I want the Pirelli P7000SS, but nobody has them. They have been on back order for months :( So what are you running?
My Goodyear 315s went too fast, my michellins went even faster, and right now my Pirellis have impressed me! They are a harder compound.. I'm impressed!
If you want a great overall tire: Michelins. If you want the tire with the best dry grip G-Force. I'm getting the Pilots this week.

I'm running the Pirelli P7000SS! I love them!!
I had the Dunlop 8000's and like the Pireilli's much better. I could spin the Dunlop's pretty easy, the Pirelli's seem to stick much better.
When you want the very best in dry handling, there is only one choice... BFG G-Force TA/KD!
If you like to race in the rain (?) or snow (???) then and only then should you consider the others.
Seriously, though, the KD's are awesome tires but the Michelin Pilot Sports are excellent, too, and probably a better all weather tire. Just IMHO, of course (but backed up by plenty of independent tests). ;)
The Sumitomo's were a fraction of the cost of any other brand and matched my front Dunlop 8000's perfectly.....have had excellent wear and no difference in ride quality......I do not race the car but can attest to the fact that they are smooth and quiet to 130 mph!....good luck in your decision... :flag
I have Pirelli P7000 315/35 ZR17's all around, on 17 x 11 black ZR-1 rear wheels. The only time I've had them slide or spin was when I was autocrossing or at the drag strip. They have been fine on wet and dry roads, have been wearing well, and are only noisy on grooved concrete road surfaces. The Pirelli dealers here get them in 3 days.
