I had a Corvette back in the late sixties and then finally got back into them in the mid 90s again. There was nothing out there to help a poor noob except the magazines. If you sent in a letter to the editor it could be months before you got an answer, if at all!
I met a Forum member while working in my clinic around 1999. He had a black 97 Vette and turned me on to the Forum. I lurked for a while and finally took the plunge in early 2003. Hanen't looked back since!
I learned a lot back then and still do almost evey time I log in. Thanks!
Thanks for the post. There are times when others have been through experiences that most of the time help answer my questions. I didn't join until Feb of this year and frankly didn't even know a place existed that discussed Corvettes. My father got me into the desire to own "America's only sports car". He owned 6 before I was born and it has rubbed off on me. I have owned 4 and currently own 2. True, I could sell both and have a C5 paid for, but the C4 is the style I like the best.
