hey javwho1 that illustration you gave was awesome
But its got nothing to do with the rest of the thread really...... That is most CERTAINLY NOT the reason every single C4 Corvette has its headlights work the way they do if fitted from the factory....
Glad I could help. That was the first thing I had to repair on my car . The other was the interior light switch. If you go to the same link there is also a fix for that, its in the home section of that link.
One thing I forgot to mention was that when I switch my lights from the head light position down to parking lights the headlights stay up but do not iluminate. But if I turn my lights on and stop at the parking light position (with fog lights on ) the head lights do not pop up.

I think the reason the motors keep running is that the delrin bushings need to be replaced. I had the same problem on my lights as the motor ran for 5-10 seconds after I would turn them off. If you need step by step on how to change them enclosed is a link.
Also it is wise to change them both sets of bushings (left and right) at the same time, don't do what I did just change one since now I have to change the other one DUH
Thank Javwhol1- The web page was great. Replaced the delrin bushings- Motor dosen't keep running and the headlights don't rotate up when I just put on the parking lights.
