Your car ain't stock.
it started out as a "regular c4".... using your words.

Sure... a modified zr1.. it's not gonna have anything I can't put in my car. How about yours?

And it's going be bullet proof like an LT-5 too right?

You are comparing apples and oranges. A 368 or 415 would leave you in the dust and probably still go 100,000 miles.

No, you're running your mouth about regular c4's. Bullet proof? You go ahead and be bullet proof while I beat your azz to the finish line. If I wanted bullet proof, I'd buy an armored car. I'll settle for fast.

I own a regular c4

It won't be bulletproof as a LT-5 and you are dreaming if you think you are going beat a worked 368 or 415 LT-5 to the finish line.

I'm not running my mouth, I simply said I wouldn't spend that kind of $ in a regular C4. To me to spend $10,000 on a motor when most C4's are in the 10-15k range is stupid but hey its your money.

Really? You know this how, exactly? How? Do you have a 368 or 415? I'd be happy to meet you at the track and find out. Of course, you already know the results somehow. Tell me, how fast am I in the quarter, since you know I'd lose, you must already know this.

Do you own a 368 or 415 or are you bragging about someone else's car? We're back to bullet this bullet proof fantasy. An LT5 has the same general physics as any other v8(it's a 4 stroke internal combustion engine) and is therefore relatively just as prone to failure as say.. my 383. The parts in my motor are forged, I doubt a built LT5 would be much different. They would have similar moving parts under similar loads. Explain to me how an LT5 will magically be stronger?

Oh wait let me guess, you have Nitrous too? Big deal - go put a 200 shot on a ZR-1 and its going put you to shame.

It's called an opinion which I am entitled to just like you are entitled to yours. Go sell your car and see what it is worth.....

I'm making more horsepower and torque off the bottle than any stock zr1 ever made. All other things being equal, zr1 loses.
Next fantasy?

Ah.... I believe he question is.......... Should he go with a 355 or a 383. I like a 383..... the 383 runs rings around my L98.... But it has a little extra help.

Yeah, you make alot of sense.

You are making more HP off the bottle then a stock ZR-1 huh?

No ****, you have a bottle and you have dumped a ****load of $$ in your car that you will never ever see again.

Oh and I bet that motor will run forever too ..... NOT!

Truth be known he should probably buy a rougher ZR-1, do the plenum, injector housings, headers and a chip and he would be in good shape.
At least when he was done, he would get most of his money out of the car.

Oh and since you questioned it:

ZR-1 415
0-60 mph 3.6 seconds.
Top Speed 201.5 mph

Funny how you mouth off but you are not even sure what your car will run plus it appears it is not even setup right You are not going make me post the thread are you

Ya, as in without the bottle. Without the bottle I'm making bigger numbers than any stock zr1. Is this clear enough for you?
Get off the couch, put that 200 shot on your Zr1 and let's run.

load of $$ in your car that you will never ever see again
Hey Charles Schwab, if I want to invest, I look at real estate and the market, not old cars. Somewhere along the line you've drawn yet another foolish and incorrect assumption, that I spent mod money with a return/profit in mind. I do not care about the loot I have spent on my car, I want to to go fast and I want to have fun while doing so. Mission accomplished.... next fantasy?

Apparently you missed my post on the ZR-1 (see below)

I am not posting again as you are a clown.

ZR-1 415
0-60 mph 3.6 seconds.
Top Speed 201.5 mph

I don't even want to talk about how your motor is going pull at 100mph vs the LT-5

From 100+ the LT-5 is going be pulling like a freight train and your motor is going be petering out.
Wow, you have lots of fantasies. Irrespective of that, your freight train will be behind me as I pass the finish line at the 1/4... you lose!

You won't beat a 415 on nitrous or a 415 twin turbo.

Heck in your thread, you can't even figure out how to build your motor.

I'm sure its as good as a J.L. built 415 1/4 mile= 10.60

Perhaps you should start selling your motors, just don't let anyone pull up the thread where it shows you have no clue

Both of you are looking pretty lame right now. The original poster had a legitimate question and wanted some input not a pissing contest. If a new member saw you all bickering in this thread he would think this whole forum was like that which is the excact opposite of what this forum is about....most people here to learn and help each other out. Do us all a favor and stop thread jacking and take it to pm or your own thread.

Didn't know how to build it because I was seeking advice? Buy a clue Dick Tracy, or should i just call you Dick? You sure don't have a clue now. How long ago was that thread? Among the things I've changed since then are a new tranny... Ask Pete K, a new rear end, Ask Exotic Muscle, and a new cam. If you're going to try to bag on me, you should at least be informed.

You won't beat a 415 on nitrous or a 415 twin turbo.
There's always someone faster... what's your point? We were talking about stock ZR1's... you lose..... again. So like I said, put your money where your mouth is, put in that 200 shot and let's run. Or are you gonna stay on the porch and yap like a little dog?.... always talking about this 415 and that 415... it's always someone else's car. poser.
