Diff change etc..
Hi all,
1st day back to the forum, been offline 5 days as we are changing IS provider.. to long to go without CF.
Anyhay.... how simple is it to change the diff oil? My wife has lost/thrown/hidden my manual..
Cannot find it anywhere!
I have obtained a 20ml syringe (easy...i work in science) as i thought this may make it easier to get the oil out/in?
I have yet to look under and I/D the tag showing the type/grade of oil used. Can anyone let me know, for a '90 auto.

Real simple, even a caveman could do it. For pictures and step by step process, go to c4guru.com its Andy Bogus's web site---go to "tech library" it really well done and getting better.

Yup. Peep Andy's web site. I changed mine about a month ago and it's easy as day.
Use the Mobil 1 Synthetic 75/90 weight gear oil and two bottles of the GM rear axle lube (Chevy dealer) too.
