finally got the Vette back on the road after a water pump replacement...wasn't really that tough to replace...just took my time (way too much) and plodded along...don't know how much $$$ i saved by doing the job myself, but it felt good knowing that i had done it and done it right...while on a road test, i couldn't believe how awesome it was running, then i remembered it still had a tank full of $3.29 per gallon high test gas....

Feels good to do it yourself doesn't it? My water pump went out on me on the way to Vegas. Had a shop do it out there cause I didnt have any resources to do it myself. Two weeks later it crapped out again. Took me half a day or so, but I did it, and did it right!!! No one loves your car more than you do.
