Bought mine last Spring. Tan interior with white soft top.

I've been told the white soft top is unusual - most of the Copper Verts had the tan soft top.

Also, seems that Arizona cornered the market on these, possibly. Various theories abound on that one (Arizona is the copper state??)

I wasn't in the market for a C4, but the rarity of the Copper Convertible was too much to pass up - even over a C5 or C6.

I purchased a Coupe about 2 months ago. I found out mine is 1 of 51 with Tan Interior. Other then that info is hard to come by. NCM has a library and might be able to get more info if your ever there.

What is the difference in color between copper metallic and Metallic Gold? The posted pics look a lot like mine, but I can see a reddish tone to the copper in certain pics.

If you look at the door jamb its Copper (U66). The exterior paint faded because previous owner left it outside all the time. I know on the Copper Metallic they only used this color for 3 days. 116 Vette's painted and all of them looked like patch work. None of the body panels matched. Not sure about Gold.

Nice looking but according to the Corvette Bible a ZR1 was not produced in Copper Metallic. Let alone a Melone Copper Metallic.

You're absolutely right, but I liked the color so much I had my ZR-1 painted as such. I also realize the color is Copper Metallic, but I have also seen it written as Mellon Copper Metallic. It is the 1994 color either way, just thought I would share.

The ZR-1 was crushed from what I understand.
