Has anybody tried Cooper tires? I need some new tires, and the Zeon 2XS looks good.
I am not sure if that is the model I bought..I can't remember it was over a year ago..so far they are fine..hold the road wet or dry..no problems..for some reason the name Zeon sounds familiar..all I know is Cooper makes em..and the price was right.
[QUOTE=GR896]Has anybody tried Cooper tires? I need some new tires, and the Zeon 2XS looks good. My wife doesn't like Cooper, and I'd hate to have to eat crow later if they don't work out.

Are they quiet? The Nitto's I have now are singing pretty loud.
I run Cooper on my truck and theyre good, but I have no experience with their performance tires.
On the vett I use Firehawk Wide Ovals, they are awesome, quiet, very sticky in the dry, good in the rain, but stay away from even a little standing water
I have a set of the Cooper Cobra GTX that I was very happy with. At the time I bought the Cobra the Zeon was not out. I've used the Cobra in autocross with no complaints. I do like the Zeon but when I switch to my 18's recently the Zeon didn't come in 295/35/18, else I would of got them.
I purchased my 95 vert this past summer-Cooper tires were already installed-do not have the model handy but it seems like it handles well in the rain (light) and dry weather.I also did not notice any loud road noise
