After reading the posts about shocks, I think I am going to go with the Bilstein HD. I found a set of 4 on E-bay for $289.00 free delivery from Techdeals1. Has anyone ever dealt with this seller?
I do alot of Ebay business... Im not familiar with them. But if they have a favorable feedback rating or are a "powerseller" then you probably are safe and good to go. Just make sure the Bilsteins are new..make sure they have a return policy so your are not stuck with bad merchandise. That is really the whole purpose of feedback ratings.
You may be saving 10 or so. Check out a google search for bilsteins, then look at a site like shox.com. Not pushing them, but they have a real address and plugging in your vitals, not incl. shipping I came out with 299.

No, but if you shop around, thats the usual price for a set of Bilsteins.

That does not appear to be any kind of a bargain to me. That is what I paid from one of our Forum sponsers. Correct me if I am wrong, but don't most of the mail order catalogs advertise them at approx. $289.00 for a set of 4?
That's no real "deal" so I would go with buying from one of the CF Supporting Vendors. Try Van Steel in Florida. Dan is a CF Supporting Vendor and a good guy to deal with.

Shox.com is a real place, with real (nice) people. I've purchased two sets of shocks directly from their office (only about a mile from where I work) and would not hesitate to do it again.
