water pump question

water pump question
buddy of mine has a 93 like mine,just not a ruby...we looked up under his car tonight and saw a few drops of antifreeze....if its his water pump leaking...where will it be coming from ...its on the cross member under the bottom of the car...where should we look to see 100% if it is the pump?

theres not any on the hood anywhere.....i felt around the water pump on top of the opti and it was dry.....is there anyway he could make it to my house from his moms ?...its about 80 miles or so

yeah its definately not much at all.....under the car on the cross member there was 4 maybe 5 drops...where it had dropped on his carport was about as big around as a 50 cent peice or so...so he should be fine for about 80 miles or so ?

also he replaced it about 40,000 miles ago...any chance it could be a little loose or something ?...i've never had the problem so i have no clue

to you my friend...i guess i'll call him in the morning and tell him to try and get it over here and we'll see what we can find out...we was looking at it with flash lights so tomorrow willbe much better...i just hope he dont break down in it.....hopefully he can make it
