I replaced my belt, replaced most of the heater hoses, flushed the cooling system, removed my radiator and flushed it, cleaned the 3"deep pile of leaves and dragonflies and several unidentified objects out of the radiator housing, cleaned the rust out of the reservoir bottle (hint: use Lime-Away), put in new antifreeze (obviously), got a new radiator cap, cut my air filter lid, and installed new K&N filter. Whew!
The thermostat had just been replaced before I bought the car. I watched it heat up today after all the work was done and it looks like the stat opened at 160*. One less thing to do.
Painted 2 3/4 inch fenderwashers satin black to use on my new SLP intake. The OEM plastic ***** and screws needed these to really tighten flush and look good. Installed plastic interior trim piece that holds down driver side sill.(Broken to bits by a stereo installer who ripped it ot of the car in the name of speed!) :mad Cleaned and removed spots from used drivers side OEM carpet obtained from junkyard ( Previous owner spilled something that ate the original carpet) Repaired split and torn convertible top rubber where top meets window. (Used Black trim cement and Black silicone) These repairs went perfect and you would never even guess that they were ever touched!!! :D :D :D
