I've never driven my car in below 60 degree weather here in South Florida, and now we have this cold front (relative to SoFla, anyway) ... it's about 45 degrees in the morning, and I notice my car isn't liking it much.
The shifter seems to be a lot tighter, getting it into gears takes a little more encouragement, the clutch seems to be a little stiffer as well. This normal for a 20-30 degree drop in normal environmental temperature, or do I have another problem coming up in the future?
In the cold everything gets tighter and some things even disappear......... My cars all seem to like the cold though after they've been warmed up a bit.
My FIL just called from Central Fl (Leesburg).
It's actually warmer here than there.
Upper 60's tomorrow.
Last year, 20 degrees and 4" snow. Must be Global (except for Fl) warming.

I had the same problem with it going into gear a little harder when it was cold. Turned out the clutch fluid was low and whenever it was cold it caused the fluid level to decrease just enough to make shifting hard. Filled it up and it fixed the problem.
