I nearly cut up my kid's huffy micro-scooter
because I couldn't think of where else to find a piece of
1/8" aluminum to use as a mount for my MSD 6-A box.
Y'know, there must be a special place in :reddevil
for a guy that'd do that.
I know what you mean. When I was gutting the catalytic converter in my Z28 I didn't have anything long enough to get the whole way through. So what did I do? Broke one of my golf clubs in half. I knew I was getting a new set, but I still had to go without a 3 iron for 2 weeks because of it. :D

Hey don't feel bad - when I was installing my SC, I needed to make a bracket to re-attach the lift pole for the hood. Used one of my kid's training wheels. Having only one training wheel on his bike gave him the 'motiviation' to learn to ride without them :D
