Seafoam.........YES!
Great stuff, been using it in everything I have that runs on gas. Dumped a can in my 84 two weeks ago and just like it did in everything else the idle got smoother, and the engines runs smoother.
10 years plus of using Seafoam, it's worked and improved performance of every car I have owned, even my lawn tractor. Always keep 2 cans in my garage.

Seafoam is Ok but I prefer GM Top Engine Cleaner. Toss a can in a 1/4 tank of gas and beat the carbon outta her. Fun and helpful.
I've had a few disturbing experiences with Seafoam so I won't use it anymore.

If you are looking for an additive for injectors,Techron. Or get it in Chevron gas. To raise octane, buy better gas.

Also you can try redline fuel injector cleaner. Some people choose to have them professionally cleaned but redline does the same thing. I dont know much about the other brands. Also as mentioned sea-foam is, but it may hydro-lock your motor if your not careful.
