My digital display works great on my 85 until the engine gets good and warmed up 205 deg. then the engine temp and fuel milage read outs start flashing from instant milage to average and the temp starts bouncing around and flashing. Like i say it works great up to when the engine warms up any ideas on what to look for to repair this problem??
Hmmm, I wonder if heat from the engine is getting to the digi-dash and causing some gremlins.
You could try installing a 160 or 180 deg T-stat & fan switch but I really don't think that is the issue. Rather I think it may be just time for the digi-dash to warm up to the temp where the problem is manifest.
Sorry but I can't be of any real help on this one.

Sounds like the computer is giving trouble since the two displays (mileage / engine temp) are not connected anywhere else. Check all connections and wires. Test sending units. Find someone with access to alldata and see if you can find a trouble tree to follow. Good luck.
