I've done a couple of things recently to my 96LT1 thought I'd share.
1) Bought flat black vinyl lettering material and applied it to the outside of the rear glass around the shock mounts and the latch. This made the tint job look finished by hiding the cut outs in the tint.
2) tightend all the interior screws to eliminate some rattles and squeeks.
3) Removed the rear deck trim piece and applied stick-on felt to the underside. This stopped the squeek created by the plastic luggage cover rubbing on the plastic edge of the trim piece.
I will try and post pics later, last time I tried it did not work.
hmm, have any idea on how to tighten the glass in front of my speed-o it just rattles like crazy.. and I can wedge something in there but... it looks wierd..
is there a screw somewhere that anyone knows of?
another cheap/easy mods would be the Silverstar headlights, best mod for the money easily
Shawn, where did you get those headlights and how much?
I got mine at autozone, they were like $40 for both i think.
Real easy install, just lift the hood. turn the lights on and shut em off before they rotate fully. Have them like halfway open so you can get to all the screws.
take all the screws off the light housing and plug the new light in.. then re-assemble
