Default Super Ram Question

I was down at my mechanics shop yesterday and he asked me if the Super Ram was going to fit under my hood. I have an 85 and to be honest I never even thought about it. The new 383 is going in as I type this and I just want to make sure that there will not be any problems with the hood not closing or hitting it. I know there are a lot of guys out there with it and I have seen pictures, but never heard of this being an issue.

Thanks
Pete

no problems here.

i do have a sign affixed on the underside of my hood to advise anyone never to drop the hood lest it could strike the SR plenum......rather to lay it down and press each side down.

no problems at all. That's one reason I suggested it... that and it has a CARB EO number.

jrzyvet,

the reason i made a sign for the underside of the hood is because the clearance IS close. no problems, but close.

you may want to follow suit, just in case -- as a warning to anyone who might open/close your hood.
