TPI is fine as a fuel injection system, we are complaining about the TPI intake being crappy for power.
And the aftermarket FI systems are, in general, extremely expensive for little gain.

The TPI makes great low ends grunt..coupled with a tall gear they make a great driving car. Complaints come when they try to make a top end "dyno hpz" car out of it and have to change everything. Kinda like taking a fat chick out and wondering why she aint skinny..Make the most of whats there and enjoy it for what it is. You want a car that has top end pull, get one that has those characteristics to start with.
Remember, these things were made back in the 80s when F.I. was getting sorted out.
