Default Newbie with question.

What is the best website to get performance parts for my C4? I've always been into Mustangs but recently aquired the vette I've always wanted. I know where all the good mustang sites are, but haven't seen that many besides one's like Summit and sometimes Jegs has some good stuff. Are there any out there dedicated to my C4?

Thanks,
Casey

I don't know if these are the best, but they are good. Also, checkout the forum supporting vendors.

Ecklers

Mid America Motorworks

Corvette Central

To me it depends on what you have more of, time or money. If you have the money deal with Ekler's, etc... If you don't, the forum here has some good deals at times and I've bought stuff off of Ebay when the price is right. Good luck to you.

The LTX engines aren't supported very well. It's still a SBC though and it will respond well with a gear change 4.10's for your car would be a good place to start. The LT4 hotcam conversion is also very popular.
You can buy the gears and cam kit from www.summitracing.com
Figure out what you want out of the car and what type of mod you want to do and then repost. The reason is for example if you wanted a chip I would tell you pcm4less if you wanted a free easy horsepower mod for dirt cheap I would Welcome !!!!!!!

Default Thanks to everyone

for you help. I basically am looking at gears, chip, maybe longtube headers (but I've heard they're a pain to install). Stuff like that. I don't really want to get into the engine too much. I did that with a Mustang I had and swore I'd never do that again...LOL.

Don't forget to keep you eye on the C4 Parts/Wanted board right here at the CorvetteForum. I've seen some pretty good deals come and go on that board.
