Just talked to Lisa.
They have taken Sonny off the ventilator for good.
They have reduced the medication and are keeping him mildly sedated
He did open his eyes for a brief moment and called Lisa "Babe"

Sent one upstairs for him. If it is any consolation my daughter's boyfriend was in a motorcycle accident this summer in the Detroit area. He had a closed head injury and a broken leg and was in a coma for 2 weeks. He came out of it. He bought a new helmet as soon as he got back home and promptly took his other bike out for a ride around the neighborhood. He works as a landscaper and has been back to work with lots of overtime for 3 months now. I believe everyone's prayers helped him too.

Hi everybody, this is Lisa..Sonny's girlfriend. I just wanted to say thank you for all of your support and prayers. I know in my heart that he is going to be just fine.
