Default Front Spoiler

Looking to replace my three piece front spoiler on my 95. There is a small rod that is attached to the plastic spoiler but not attached to the car. Is it supposed to be attached to the car for stability?
Thanks

yep, there should be a hole almost directly above the rod...just a little forward of it. Bolts right in...probably got taken out by a parking block.

Tell me about it. Replaced mine a few eeks ago, already scraped on the bottom and a little on the facia itself. One flucking curb and it looks old all over again.

yeah, I scrape mine on everything too. No curbs, but I scrap with a good dip in the road (lowered about an 1"). Nothing major, but I won't be replacing my air damn any time soon.

I thought seriously about replacing mine, but I scrape every time I back out or pull in my driveway. So it would look like s@#* in no time at all.

There is a guy selling one in the for sale section, I thought of buying it, but in a few weeks of driving it would be messed up also, so why bother?
I can spend the money on other things

Thats the only reason I've paused on getting one.

Around here it seems like they have to dig a canal at the entrance to every parking lot there is.

My spoiler looks like crap, but I know if I get a new one, in 2 weeks the new one will look just as bad, so why waste the $$?

Some scrapes are unavoidable even if you're creeping over a sewer drain or entering a parking lot. You should learn to be a nicer person. I doubt your driving record is spotless.
