Default Carpet replacement

Merry Christmas.....I recently purchased my first vert an '89 red w/6 speed. It is in need of some interior help (carpet & seats). It looks as though the carpet was replaced at some point with the drivers side now in need of replacement. So far I have only been able to find companies that sell complete replacements. Are there any companies out there that will provide a replacement for the driver's side only. Thanks.

I have only seen them sold in sets, about $500.00. My rear carpet on my 84 was worn from the roof being taken our so many times by the last owner. I was able to shampoo the rest of the saddle carpeting and they look accepatable at this state , but what I did to the rear was recarpeted the fenderwells only where the wear was with auto carpet from auto Barn stores about $15.00 a roll. If you have a color like black or red you might be able to do the same. The seats are the same issue. You can buy covers from igbee I think its called that are almost as good looking as having them recovered for about $200.00. With these cars I am finding its all up to how crazy you want to get. You can rebuild your Corvette and spend 1,000s or make do with what you have.Since $$ is a issue with me I try to do what I can with my budget. Mine is not a show car buy it looks decent and I enjoy it and that is what counts to me.

Here's a link to a firm that might be exactly what you are looking for. They sell molded Vette Carpet sets and also by the yard, i.e.,
'84-'96 Coupe, Front Only Molded Carpet is $254.95
I found the exact shade of gray for my '89 from the 3 samples they sent me. I only needed one yard for the flat floor piece in the back storage area. They might be worth a phone call...866-868-4577

That is a really great tip, I'll be looking into it myself, I may as well replace the lot for that price!

You probably will be better off replacing all the carpet so that the color matches, I did this on my '84 and it's really not that difficult if you just take your time and watch how the old carpet comes out.

Contact Mid America Motorworks. They sell the front or rear sections. You specify what you need, they will take care of it. Unfortunately, when I purchased mine, only a complete set was offered. I only needed the driver's side and the console pieces. I stored the rest of the pieces in a box in my basement, for future replacement if necessary.
