Gator, I have a cushion like yours and find that my lid won't open all the way as the cushion gets in the way.
Do you have the same problem?
thats funny, when I first put it on no problems, then I took it all apart to install the stereo and now it binds a little, I just need to adjust the console side cover a little so it will open freeley like it use to
Need to rough up the old vinyl cover so the glue will stick. It was a rather tedius job, with a lot of small cutting and folding. I started by gluing the leather to the top and down the sides. Let that set up a while then wrapped it up and under with more glue. Used a ton of clothes pins to hold it while the glue set. After that was set I then went to the corners and nipping and tucking.
I used Elmers Rubber Cement which seemed to work well.
I just purchased one from Corvette America's website. I ahe a 1990 Vert with Saddle interior. Although my factory console lid is black, I bought a Saddle colored cover to put over it. I hope that it comes out loking nice. There's nothing wrong with my fractory cover, I just wanted to protect it from my elbow. We'll see.
