airbox modding...
just picked up a nice fram airhog air filter, and before i put it in i was thinking of doing the airbox mod ive read about on here. those that have done it, did it make any kind of REAL difference, and do you have any pictures of what exactly you did?
Someone will probaly come in here debating this.

i dunno.. i cant see that making any difference at all.. sure, its pulling air in through a bigger opening, but its also pulling it in through the engine bay. i thought you guys were modding the bottom of it somehow or something.

It actually made a difference for me but my stock paper filter was really dirty so thats why. With it cut it doesnt seem to get dirty that much quicker but you can definately hear the intake more.
