Program the fans to turn on earlier?

Program the fans to turn on earlier?
How is this done and for how much?? Summers have been getting pretty darn hot around here and want a head start........

leave the air conditioner on, the fans come on earlier than if it's off.
I have an 86.
what I did was to install an aux fan in front of the radiator, and tied the new fan's relay positive wire to the main fan's positive wire, and grounded the aux fan's relay negative wire.
What happens is the big fan comes on, and the power operates the aux relay, and the little fan comes on.
The fans don't come on after 35 mph because they are controlled by the computer.
If you need them on sooner, get a chip burned.
on my car, the air comes on, the fan is in low speed, and kicks up a notch when the temp is higher.
