New paint for the 86.

New paint for the 86.
I am asking for some help on a paint decision. I am going to get my 86 painted. It's black and I want to keep it that way. What I want to do is put a Grand Sport stripe down the middle. First are these painted on stock grand sports or are they decals? Second I want to know if you guys have pictures of a black or dark colored car with a white or silver stripe on it? I can't decide if I should go with a white or silver stripe. Thanks guys all input appreciated.

first i think they may be a decal, but you probally can have it painted on... as for the color of the stripe i persoinally would go with silver against black. it is a nice subtle combonation... do you just plan on doing the skunk stripe, or are you gonna put the hash stripes on too?

i wish my car was all 1 color, i really like the skunk stripe
i just don't know how it would look with the 2 tone with a skunk stripe... i wanted something different on mine, so i just went with the hash stripes

That is Impala Balko's profile its got some nice pics of his black vette with a silver stripe. Looks really sharp. Im sure if you pm'ed him he would send you some more pics or if you search his previous posts you may find some as well.
