Default Removing rear quarters

How hard is it to remove quarters and reinstall on another car. Basically seeing if it is worth buying a wrecked ZR1 just for the rear half. The doors, rockers, wheel wells are easy just wondering about the quarters and related bonded parts. Thanks.

Unbolt the back bumper stuff and use a sharp wood chisel to seperate the bonded areas. Installing is a little more technical.

It''s hard to get it off without damaging the quarters. If you do this, make sure you get EVERYTHING! None of those parts are available except at ridiculous prices (fender molding-$500).

It is just a shell doors back. Thanks for the heads up on the molding. It is not on it. Definetly need to take that into consideration.

Actually I meant the rear bumper molding. The bumpers are outrageous too!

Found the rear bumper molding for 200 used. Rear bumper is 500.
