Back in the Saddle
Picked my six speed up last night after an 8 month absence.
Thing is like brand new.
New(used) LT1, new flywheel, new clutch etc. Heater core, new horn switch.
Runs like a raped ape. I missed this car so bad, glad to have it back, now believe it or not, it needs a good washing and detailing.
Have to put the black wheels back on, then wait for test and tune at the track and see what the baby can do.
So nice to have a car with everything working once again, I let all this stuff go for too long.

Sounds cool Mojo
I was just thinking today how I regret putting mine up for the winter. Could have been driving it right up to now with the weather this year.
Can't wait to see your times with the "new" car

Good news Mojo. Now you have to make the spring Skyline for sure.
Just post an itinerary with times so we can have your butt covered when you go through the tunnels.
J/K. But you know I broke down on the fall Skyline and had to get towed back from the first rest stop on the cruise. I made it through the day but never caught up with the rest of the folks.

WOW, 8 months. I have just started a winter (winter for South Carolina is 50 - 60 degrees) cleaning under the hood and started to pull apart the front. I expect it to take about 1 - 2 months. Thats long enough for me without the vert.
