'86 C4 Jack - What will replace it?

Default '86 C4 Jack - What will replace it?
I just bought an '86 coupe. It has no jack, so I thought I would pick up something comparable at the junk yard. Does anybody know what other vehicle jack is the same size and lift?

dont know, but theres a jack on ebay that was going for 20 last time i looked.

my v8 Holden Calais jack is identical to the one that came with Vette... assuming its the original. I got a feeling most GM cars that are over a certain weight come with the same size jack??

You can find alternatives, but they (replacement) are cheap & plentiful on ebay.

It is nestled down inside the rim and should be in a protective bag. You can also find used C4 parts at www.vette2vette.com

Ron, i am this week, but it looks as though it may be set to change....
Just remember though mate, im Australian, and i wear the pants in this house!!! I keep all my spare Corvette parts in the bedroom, along with all my tools

P.S. Do i get a pen for that story Ron???
