Default Another header question

It looks like Hedman Elites are the most popular choice around here, long tube & ceramic coating seems to be the way to go...BUT... they don't appear to have any hookups for the air tubes that are presently plugged into the top of my exhaust manifolds. So what are you guys with the Elites doing? I would prefer not to disconnect them...

They have air tubes available.

(84 -91)
68448 : No AIR, No EGR
61448 : Air Tubes, No EGR (for iron headed c4's)
68487 : Air Tubes & EGR (for aluminum headed c4's)

I've also heard that the a.i.r.-less 68448 comes with O2 bungs, unlike some other brands.

that's the first time i ever heard that. however the Elite series appears to be much better than their infamous regular headers.

does anyone know who does their thermal coating, and is it 100% internally coated as well?

The inside of them is nowhere near as nicely finished as the outsides, but as far into the tubes and collectors as I can physically see, is indeed "coated", although it is definitely "lighter" coating inside. No idea who does the coating for them though.
