I don't know what year yours is,but I had problems with the switch not goinig into to accessory position,a little bit of WD squarted around th barrel of the cylinder solved it,you could try it.Could be a problem with the rack also.

I also sprayed a tiny amount of lubricant into the key cylinder which helped.

A little left and right action on the steering while trying to remove the key might work as well while your in park. Works for me. Goldcylon

The car only has 37,000 miles on it I wouldn't think wear would be the problem,by turning it on and off numerous time's when it occures it finally goe's to lock. I thought maybe someone else had experianced this and could direct me in the rite direction to correct it, any input is greatly app.
