NEVER add up the cost. If the wifey or significant other should find out you will never have any peace!
You are making a mistake if you only focus on money. Think about the pleasure of driving a Corvette. Then think about what you would have done with the money otherwise, like saving it of something.
If you only knew! I have kept a spreadsheet on mine since the day I bought her. Mostly for a service record with date/vendor/price/mileage etc. Every light bulb, oil change, accessory, manuals, repairs, parts, labor, new top etc. I am glad that I have a very complete record, but I try not to look at the total. I paid $8,000, 10 months ago. Total investment is now $15,978. But worth every penny!
Our "family" car (a crossover) runs in the 0.40s, so I consider the extra 0.60 +/- per mile pretty cheap fun.

I just added up my costs of ownership over the last 5.5 years, in which I've driven the Vette 85,000 miles. Including the depreciation in vehicle value, cost of repairs and mods, insurance, oil, and gas (that's the big ticket item), the total cost per mile works out to 40 cents. Not too shabby, considering I've gotten more smiles per mile than with any car I've ever had.
