Custom Clear Back-up Lights
Well, since no one makes clear back-up lenses for the C4 I went on a mission to make a pair for myself, and since my car is black...I went with a reflective black paint instead of chrome. I haven't had a chance to see what they look like from behind the car at night, but they certainly light up the path behind the car and even better than the stock lamps. I guess I won't be upgrading to the halogen backup lights afterall. 
I still have to figure out how I want to finish the outside of the lamp so you can't see the silicone holding them on...enjoy!!!

You can experiment using some type of window tint around the edges and cut an area away near the bulb.You can try to make a design out of the middle piece near the bulb-rectangle shape,chev emblem shape-etc

Hmm, window tint. Didn't really think about that. Most likely I'll just have them painted when I repaint the car, but the tint would probalby work nicely till then. Thanks.

The bulbs are crazy bright at night. I might try out the halagens just because the tip is covered and i think it'll be more reflective light than just a bulb lit up...right now it doesn't really reflective off of the black lamp like I was hoping it would do. Next will just be finishing off the edges to give them the finished look. I'll probably just paint the edges.
