I finally got my car back today after being in the bodyshop the last two months for a new paint job. Those of you in the south will get a kick out of this, drove it home in sub zero weather. She's sleeping in the garage tonight as they are predicting -35 degrees with the wind chill.
looks good I live about 40 mins from the maine boarder it is alot warmer here its supposed to be 3 tonight
I use to live in Dracut, Mass and ran a service station with towing and everytime I see these kind of temps posted it reminds me why I left. Good Luck!

Fort Kent? Yeah, that's "WAYupnorth". Lived in Skowhegan while I worked in Hinckley. Nice country.
Having lived in Florida for 29 years, MI, IN, NY, ME, and now PA (23 yrs. combined), I am qualified to say, "It's not the paradise it is advertised as". Too much traffic, too many bugs and critters, too much heat and humidity, too much "snow" on the streets, and too much "lead" in the air. I'll take Ft. Kent over Miami anytime. I'll take the north over the south anytime, and still drive my 'vette.
The south is not as good as they think and the north is not as bad as they say.

I'd have to agree, When I drove it back from Miami it was sure nice to cross the Kittery Bridge into Maine. Too bad I still had 7 hours to reach Fort Kent.
I have lived in Maine for about 4 years. I do admit I love it here. There are so many scenic places to visit, Moosehead Lake, Lake Winnipasaukee, Sebago Lake, the Maine coast, White Mountains, Acadia Park. These are all day trips from southern Maine. After living in eastern Massachusetts for 10 years, I like being away from the traffic and the higher cost of living. There is a lot to be said for quality of lifestyle and the change of seasons.
