The GM manufacturer's specs on the ZF 6 speed say:
1st 2.64, 2nd 1.78, 3rd 1.30, 4th 1.00, 5th 0.74, and 6th 0.49
Thus, 5th and 6th are overdrives.
Reverse is 2.42.
(I think I bought the specs from the Museum.)

I have the GM service manual (GMP/96-Y-2) for '96. Book #2 covers both the auto and manual trans. in addition to the engines. The ratios noted came from page 7-30 of this manual.
