Am I Normal?
Okay. I've been wondering about this so I thought I'd ask. Is it INSANE that I love the rear bumper (square lights) of a 91-96 and the front bumper of an 84-90 at the same time? There's something about the front fascia that, to me, looks meaner on the older C4s. Everything else (side grills, third brakelight in bumper, rims) I like on a 91 and up.

That's cool. I used to like the 'newer' front end combined with the 'older' rear end.....never moded the my car though; thought it might look funny to an enthusiast! My .02 worth! :flag

Whatever your taste is that is valid for you. I had a 56 Covette and I knew it was cute but I really didn't appreciate what I had then. When I saw the Jag. XKE that's what I wanted. Now I have the 92 and I am comfortable with it's looks. Not overwelmed but satisfied. I am more impressed by the performace thus I would find a C-5 attractive.

However the look of the Viper turns me off. That car is ugly to my taste.

I think the early model looks more aggressive. I like the round tail lights and the gills better.
But the later model looks more modern, as it's supposed to.
I'd take either.

lol, I like it the other way around, I like the crisp/clean rear of the early style and the crisp/clean front of the new style.
The roundness of the new rear and old front doesn't do anything for me.

I also agree with Nat96LT4 - I wish they never removed the third brake light from above the rear window.
