OK... Ive searched my brains out (400 archived threads!) And ive waited a long time, searched google, even tried MSN!
But to no avail.. does anyone know where I can find an OEM replacement carbon fiber IMITATION dash kit? I really dont feel like spending 2 grand on real CF when Im not racing and dont need it, I just want the look and DONT want stick-on.
I don't get it. What is a real, imitation, carbon fiber, non-stick on dash kit? I tend to think there are too many opposites in what you're asking for.

All the imitation ones are stick on. I had one on my 87 and it looked good. Got it from www.corvettecentral.com
Now, the guy that bought the car from me wishes I hadn't put it on there cause he would prefer that it look stock.

I've never heard of anything except "stick-on" dash kits either. Even a "molded" kit is stick on. In my experience, molded just means the stick on pieces have been made with curves.
Joshua Wood Trim has one of the largest selections I've seen. Many (if not all) of their products come from Daytona Dash -- where I'd try first. (There might be two companies called Daytona Dash). The guy that runs JWT is a jerk, big-time. Don't have the energy to explain why.... Suffice it to say, I got the manufacture contact (Daytona Dash) and went direct to them because of his royal attitude. Pricing was much better direct too!!!!!!!!!!!
FYI: "Molded" dash kits are made in many materials, but it sounds like you want a replacement for the dash part that's actually made of faux CF vs. something to put on top of it. I don't think that would be called a molded dash kit. I would term what you're looking for as a replacement part manufactured in faux CF.

Well Im sure it can be called many different things
But yes, I am looking for full replacement pieces, I just have no need for real CF simply the look. And I believe I have found kits categorized as "molded" that are OE fit "replacements" just not many (Im pretty sure they are not stick-on, I will have to double check)
