Has any one else had a problem with their long tube headers on the drivers side touching their steering knuckle. How bad would it be for me to just hammer a little dent in one spot on the headers to make it clear? or would i be able to just bend the tube in a little if I heated it up?

To the other comments... Haha! I was thinking something similar.
To the real question, if you have coated headers you could chip off the coating and have a spot for rust to start.

Can't heat it and bend it, been there burnt my ego
IF coated your in a pickle.
Take it to an exhaust shop and have them tweak it for you. I had to have one for my el camino modified to clear the upper A-arm, the shop cut it at the bottom and then took a chunk out of the primary at the flange and welded it all back up $40. worth every penny
I had no problems clearing , but if you absolutely have to beat on it/her , use a rubber mallet on that hooker.......it won't leave marks or dents....her ceramic won't come off either
Use a LARGE socket (like the size youd use for a wheel bearing nut) and give it a good smack with a deadablow hammer or small sledge. If youre careful you can "roll" the metal and slightly flatten the area...Use a towel under it, your coating will be fine. Just did mone like that awhile back, can hardly even see anything, came out good. No need to heat or cut anything.
