Hey Yall,

As usual, I really appreciate all the help you guy's and gal's have given me through the past few months. I want to know if anyone has a purple/black (Burple) paint job on your girl? Regardless, I would love to see any pictures of your purple/black Vette. I want to paint mine but don't know of any colors that fit into that "Burple" color. I love the blackish look in the dark and the dark purple in the light. Any help on color names and pic's would be much appreciated, thanks!!!

 

When I bought mine it was a maroonish-burple-whatever. The folks where I bought it called it "The Purple Pickle". Mu first move was to get it running. Second was to have it painted. No I have no pictures, thank goodness. Don't mean to dis a purple car but it gotta be done extreamly well or it will look like a purple pickle.

Mine has the Dupont ChromaLusion on the top and Black on the bottom. It can look purple sometimes, like in this pic.

 

I think purple cars look fantastic, providing they're not bright purple.

My 94 is Black Rose. Dark purple in the light but as it gets dark out it seems to turn black
